Our next meeting is Tuesday, August 12, 2018. Join us for a program by club member Fritz Moritz entitled “Eclipse 2017 Geology Tour.” Ride along with Fritz and his wife as they journey from Las Vegas, up into the desert of central Oregon for the great eclipse, then east through southern Idaho and western Utah and back to Las Vegas. Geological sites famous and not so much (but still cool!), and an Oregon sunstone collecting site are showcased along with some other fun stuff.
We’ll begin at 7PM with a short business meeting; followed by refreshments, a silent auction, and socializing; and then our program. We meet in the dining room of the Bristol Senior Center, 240 Stafford Ave., in Bristol.
