Our next meeting is Tuesday, August 12th at 7 PM in the dining room of the Bristol Senior Center, 240 Stafford Ave., in Bristol. We’ll begin with a short business meeting, followed by refreshments and a silent auction, and then our program.
The program will be a presentation by Alfredo Petrov entitled, “Weird Mineral Localities in East Asia. ” Alfredo will describe a miscellaneous assortment of strange minerals and tall tales from places in the Philippines, Okinawa, North Korea, and Japan. For anyone who remembers any of Alfredo’s earlier talks, you know he is one of our most entertaining speakers!!
