A MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT PAUL
Hello everyone! Hope all is well and you have successfully navigated this Covid (I’m sure everyone has their own descriptive word for it.). Things are slowly opening back up and resuming normal operations, and that includes the Bristol Senior Center.
Our first Post-Pandemic meeting will be Tuesday, July 13, at 7 PM.
We will have the usual business meeting and catch people up-to-date on the treasury, Fonda claim, field trips, etc. Most importantly, Mike Zagielski will have details on the upcoming show in October. We don’t have a lot of time to prepare, so be ready to sign up to volunteer and help at the show.
Since everyone has been away so long, we don’t have a formal program planned for this month. It will be more of a social gathering – you can talk to folks you haven’t seen in the last year and a half. It will also be an informal brag night, so bring any fabulous new specimens that you have acquired – either bought or dug up on a trip somewhere – and show the folks and say a few words. We will also have the ever-popular silent auction, so bring your extra specimens, or ones that no longer fit into your collection, and make a couple of bucks!
Hope to see you all at the meeting!
