Our next meeting is Tuesday, May 14, 2019. Join us for a special program by club member Pam Brundage. Pam’s presentation is titled “Saratoga Springs: Geology, folklore, and history of the only naturally carbonated springs east of the Rockies.” Pam has been obsessed with geological processes since she stumbled upon Bill Bryson’s hilariously informative book, A Short History of Nearly Everything, about 15 years ago. When not examining road cuts and collecting leaverite, she is a licensed massage therapist, herbalist, and monitors air quality and precipitation for the EPA . Really.
Our meeting begins at 7PM–we’ll start with a short business meeting, followed by refreshments, socializing, and a silent auction, and then our program. We meet in the dining room of the Bristol Senior Center, 240 Stafford Ave. in Bristol, Connecticut.
Hope to see you there!
