Our next meeting will be Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 7 PM (new earlier time) in the dining room of the Bristol Senior/Community Center, 240 Stafford Ave., Bristol, CT.
We will begin with a short business meeting, followed by refreshments, and then the program. Our guest speaker for the September meeting will be Kevin Downey, who will speak about underground caves. His talk will describe minerals that form in caves and include photographs from many exceptional caves around the world. Kevin owns Well-Arranged Molecules (a mineral business), and he will have a selection of minerals with him at the meeting.
