Our next meeting is Tuesday, September 8 at 7:00 PM in the dining room of the Bristol Senior Center, 240 Stafford Ave., in Bristol. We’ll begin with a short business meeting, followed by a silent auction and socializing, and then our program.
The program for the evening is “Geology of Selected Western National Parks – Part I, by Dave Korzendorfer. This program will look at the geology of parks where the primary features were formed by erosional processes. It will include a discussion of Glacier Park in Montana, Yosemite Park in California, the Grand Canyon in Arizona and Zion, Bryce, Arches, and Canyonlands Parks in Utah.
